What I’m Reading
Leisure
At this point in time, a lot of what I enjoy leisurely reading has to do with some of the topics I don’t have the opportunity to focus on while in school, such as reading about dogs, animals, tattoos, off-grid living and travelling. Here are some of my favorites!
Academic
Based off of the research I am currently supporting, I focus mainly on the readings that center social justice, healing, identity and learning. This spans disciplines from public health to landscape architecture and education and everywhere in between. A few citations below with links to how I frame my thinking.
Novels
Since the majority of my reading time is focused on academic work, I aim to explore more fiction, memoir, and self-support type books. I enjoy book clubs with close friends and loved ones, they help keep me accountable in not getting lost in academic thought on a regular basis. Below is a link to my Goodreads profile.
